Nestled next to the renowned West Alabama Ice House and adjacent to the popular Upper Kirby District, you’ll find Settlers Hardware. Upon entering for the first time, you may think you’re in a museum. From the exquisite decor to the Kolstad Jewelers display cases dated back to the early 1900’s. However, you’ll be surprised to find that practically everything in our store is for sale.

We opened Settlers in 1986, fueled by a passion for stunning antique hardware. We traveled the globe to find special pieces: Victorian, Edwardian, French and other antiques that fellow Houstonians wouldn’t normally be able to access. We currently carry authentic reproduction hardware as well as original items dating back to the early 1800s. Our relationships overseas have enabled us to find unique, timeless and hard-to-find pieces from France, England, Italy, Spain, Turkey and right here at home.

At Settlers we have a passion for detail and a knowledge of hardware that gives our customers the tools they need to find whatever it is they are looking for, even if they don’t know what that is yet.
